Both Dr. Rothwell and Dr. Lenick consider their work a failure unless you absolutely love your new smile. They are so serious about this fact that they offer a beautiful smile guarantee on every case of porcelain veneers. From the first smile design consultation to the steps that lead up to the final application, Dr. Rothwell and Dr. Lenick have built in several opportunities for you to see exactly what your new smile will look like.
Love Your New Smile
Here’s how it works. Dr. Rothwell or Dr. Lenick will meet with you and talk about the many things that go into a successful smile design; the exact shape and color of your teeth, how your new look will match your face shape and facial features, as well as the personality you want to portray. They may take photos, models, facebow, x-rays, and/or ask for photo examples of what you are looking for. Dr. Rothwell and Dr. Lenick both take the time to have a thorough discussion with you about what you like and don’t like. They can also show you photos of work they have done that is similar to the look you are going for.
Once your smile design has been determined, they will create a wax-up model of your case. This will give you the first opportunity to see the proposed smile design. Then, based on this model, a set of temporary veneers are made for you to try on and wear until your customized veneers return from the lab. If you see something that doesn’t look or feel right, simply tell either Dr. Rothwell or Dr. Lenick so they can re-work it until you are satisfied.
When we receive the veneers back from the laboratory, this will be the final opportunity to see your new smile before your it is permanently bonded. It is quite rare that patients have any reservations at this final try-in stage. But if for some reason you are unsure about something, we can send it back to the laboratory until it is perfect. When you have given the final approval, Dr. Rothwell or Dr. Lenick will bond the veneers into place. That is how we arrive at your beautiful new smile.
