CEREC crowns are very strong, but teeth grinding will eventually destroy them. IF you think about it, teeth grinding destroys even your natural teeth. That doesn’t mean you can’t get a CEREC crown, it just means the teeth grinding issue has to be dealt with.
There is a simple way to protect your teeth and your crown. You can get a mouth guard orthotic to wear while you’re sleeping. This way, if you ground your teeth, the mouth guard takes the pressure off your teeth
