I can’t afford to do a lot with my teeth and porcelain veneers are soooo expensive. I have one tooth that has been my humiliation for years. Is it possible to get one porcelain veneer instead of an entire set?

You can get one porcelain veneer. In fact, you can get any number of porcelain veneers that you’d like. I would make one caution to you though. Getting just one takes an extraordinary amount of artistic skill. There aren’t many cosmetic who can pull it off. This is one of those cases where I’d say that you really need to have an AACD accredited dentist.
Be aware that there is a difference between a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and an accredited member. Be sure you get an accredited one.
